LARRY ROBBINS
Museum Freelance/Consultant

Presenting award to NZNMM Volunteer Ray Marino (L)
in 2005 to mark 10 years' service
With a lifetime's interest as an inveterate museum visitor, I was fortunate to be offered the opportunity to head up the New Zealand National Maritime Museum (NZNMM) for almost 8 years.
I was able to bring together my wide spectrum of experience and interests leading a staff team of 14 and a volunteer force of around 150.
I retired from the museum in late 2007 to pursue other interests and now offer my skills, "networks", and experience to the museum sector in a freelance/consultant/project capacity.
I have retained my links with the NZNMM as a volunteer skipper/guide.
