TOURISM and TRAVEL

I have travelled extensively in New Zealand and around the South Pacific and for a number of years I have been helping, on an informal basis, visitors plan their trips in New Zealand.

In 2005 I was approached to advise a NZ company - Pacific Tour Management - on incoming tours of NZ with a maritime theme.

Since retiring from the NZ National Maritime Museum in 2007 I have been consulting to Pacific Tour Management and have recently organised a number of tours on their behalf.

The time at the museum allowed me an insight into the tourism industry from 'the other side of the fence.'

I'm keen to help our visitors move away from the regular tourist routes.
